Anyone find any work arounds to show fire and water with raytacing? I have the glass work around but water and fire are important as many of my renderings have pools and fireplaces in them. thanks!
In that case, you might be better off using a reflective semi-transparent Standard Material with a custom water texture.
Here's a quick example using this texture.

Not sure on the fire....but great job on the render/design. Maybe check the flooring plank width, looks wide. And possibly invert the normal map? I feel like the grain is sticking up.Thanks I am going to try this for the water! For the fire, it isn't showing up and I just assumed it was a glitch with raytracing, but maybe it has to do with how I have it encased in "glass" and the quotes are because I have the workaround glass on there. see attached image.

Indeed, there seems to be an issue rendering Fire Effects behind Materials with Opacity when using Raytracing. I'll report this to our developer team.but maybe it has to do with how I have it encased in "glass"
